Dave and Ethan are joined by longtime Weird Al drummer and archivist Jon “Bermuda” Schwartz for part two of his interview to discuss his book Lights, Camera, Accordion!: Eye-Popping Photographs of “Weird Al” Yankovic, 1981–2006. Bermuda opens up about his feelings regarding his depiction in WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story, the process for recreating songs for the film, his hand in the casting process, and behind the scenes of the tour dates he was forced to miss.
Jon “Bermuda” Schwartz has been drumming with Weird Al since 1980. He’s also the official band historian, keeping meticulous lists and notes from his career with Al, and has amassed an unsurpassed collection of Weird Al memorabilia from around the world. In 1995, he created the official Weird Al website, which later became weirdal.com.
