F.A.Q.s

I know the perfect person for your podcast! Do you accept suggestions?

Yes! If you, or someone you know, have worked with Weird Al, or are a celebrity or notable person who is a Weird Al fan, we’d love to hear from you for the podcast! E-mail us here, or hit us up on social media.

I love this podcast! How can I support you guys?

First, thank you! We love all of our listeners! There are several ways to support us. Each week we bring you our podcast absolutely free, but as you might imagine, putting out a weekly family friendly podcast does have its costs. To help keep our out of pocket costs down, we have launched a Patreon and a merchandise shop.

Also for a one-time donation of $25 or more, you can get your name on our website as a supporter. For a one-time donation of $100 or more, you can do a segment with Dave and Ethan that will air on a future episode! E-mail us here, or hit us up on social media for more details.

Where can I hear the podcast?

We’re on all the major podcast apps including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music, Overcast, TuneIn Radio, Pocket Casts, Pandora, iHeartRadio, and many more. If we’re not on your favorite podcast app, let us know and we’ll add it! We encourage you to subscribe so that you don’t miss a single episode the second it drops.

You can also listen to every single episode directly on our website. And here’s a link to our RSS Feed if you are so inclined.

What’s this SPATULA hotline you guys keep talking about?

Ah yes, our Official Dave & Ethan’s 2000″ Weird Al Podcast Hotline: 347-SPATULA (347-772-8852). If you have a comment about a recent episode, want to share your opinion about something Weird Al related, have some breaking Weird Al news, or if we missed something, please call us anytime — 27 hours a day, seven days a week (closed on Weasel Stomping Day) — and leave Dave and Ethan a message. We love to hear from our listeners and we may play your message on a future episode.

Are Dave and Ethan available to be guests on my podcast?

Yes! If you run your very own podcast, host your very own radio or TV show, website, magazine, newspaper, or other entertainment outlet, and want to conduct an interview with, or have Dave and Ethan as guests, e-mail us here, or hit us up on social media and we’ll work out the details.

Can I send Dave and Ethan a gift?

Sure! If you have something in your Weird Al collection that you think Dave and Ethan would like for their own collections, original artwork, or some other thing you want to share, e-mail us here, or hit us up on social media and we’ll work out the details.

Will you promote my product, business, or event?

Maybe! We have sponsorship opportunities available on our Patreon, or e-mail us here, or hit us up on social media and we’ll work out the details.

Is it true Weird Al’s guitar player did your theme song?

Yes! We are so excited that Grammy Award nominated Jim “Kimo” West wrote and performed our very own theme song! Besides having a very successful slack key guitar career of his own, Kimo is also Weird Al’s long-time guitar player, having played with Al since 1982! Dave and Ethan wrote the lyrics, but the music, the arrangement, and the vocals are all Kimo’s!

Why haven’t you had Weird Al on your podcast yet?

We haven’t asked! We’re having so much fun talking with all the people who have worked with Al that we haven’t asked him yet. We have a lot of great guests lined up for future episodes as well that it just hasn’t been a priority. Al has told us that he listens to the podcast, and he did volunteer to us that he would be happy to be a guest on Episode 2000″, so maybe some day.
