Doug discusses working on additional non-album projects for Al, and shares a universally hilarious story about working with the Godfather of Soul – Mr. James Brown!
Doug Haverty was the art director for many of Weird Al’s albums, music videos, and much of his promotional artwork. Doug worked closely with Weird Al from Off The Deep End through Running With Scissors, as well as on the Official Limited Edition Trading Cards from the early 2010s. In addition to his work with Weird Al, Doug is a librettist, actor, and playwright. His award-winning plays and musicals have been produced around the world.
