Dave and Ethan interview artist & illustrator Kelly Phillips about designing the cover art for Weird Al: Seriously – and we kick off part 1 of our discussion to determine the definitive top 5 “Weird Al” Yankovic album cover arts!

Kelly Phillips

Kelly Phillips is a cartoonist based out of West Philly. She is the artist behind the comic series Weird Me, and editor of the all-girl comic anthology Dirty Diamonds. In addition to many other Al-themed projects that Kelly has worked on, including illustrating the cover for the Weird Al: Seriously book, she also drew the illustration of Dave and Ethan that they use on their website, social media, and promotional items.

About The Podcast

The mission of Dave & Ethan’s 2000″ Weird Al Podcast is to provide an entertaining podcast based around “Weird Al” Yankovic and his fandom through fun interviews and engaging discussions.

Dave & Ethan came up for the idea for a Weird Al Podcast while waiting in line together at the Coffee Bean on San Vicente Boulevard. They both ordered soy decaf hazelnut lattes. Ethan was on a cell phone call with his mother.
