Kimo talks about his brand new album, shares stories and insights from the recent Weird Al tour, and his thoughts on seeing a character based on him in WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story.

Jim “Kimo” West has been playing guitar with Weird Al since 1982. He is also regarded as one of the world’s foremost Hawaiian slack key guitarists. He is a 2021 Grammy Award winner for his album More Guitar Stories, a 2019 Grammy Award nominee for Moku Maluhia – Peaceful Island and a four-time Na Hoku Hanohano (the Hawaiian ‘Grammy’) nominee. He also wrote and performed the official Dave & Ethan’s 2000″ Weird Al Podcast theme song.
